Ways to Consume Cannabis

Cannabis buds are full of different trichomes and other components that are in the cannabis sativa plant. Trichomes have terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids that are beneficial. With cannabis use growing, but has been used for millennia, people wonder what types of ways they can use cannabis. The industry is exploding, and ith more options than thought possible, you’re not alone.

Growing and Cultivation

Most of the time, cannabis is grown in the soil outside, but some also may do inside, or in a greenhouse as the happy medium. Indoor growing allows year-round growth, but other factors including the light exposure, the temperature, your humidity, and the airflow also play a major part. Mostly I'll start it from clones, or cuttings, from other plants.  This is great as well to help with the growth, ensuring that flowers are created before they’re harvested. Right now, growers do cultivate various strains that fall into the indica, hybrid, and the sativa areas, with the varieties offering more options and products to fit the needs of a customer.

How to Consume Cannabis

So how do you consume it? What are some of the most popular ways? Here are some of the best ways to consume it. First, you’ve got the pre-rolls, which are one of the best for those who just want a specific strain, flavor, and aroma, with the terpenes and cannabinoids, without having to grind and prepare it.  Instead, it’s already in a state that's pre-rolled. The biggest downside is that they do cost a bit more.

Vaping is another way to take it, and it’s inhalation.  However, instead of it being plant material that combusts, it involves utilizing temperatures that are lower in order to vaporize the terpenes and cannabinoids. The process doesn’t involve any contaminants that combustion normally hast.

Instead of it being some and harsh, it’s a vapor that’s smooth. It’s fast-acting, doesn’t have an odor to it, and the smell is gone quite quickly.

However, some also do believe that this is an alternative to smoking, but at this point, the research does not say one way or another.

Tinctures are another way, as they’re basically an extract that is mixed with an oil, including avocado, hemp seed, or MCT oil.

To consume these, you have a few ways. One of the most popular is putting some doses underneath the tongue to work fast. You can also swallow this too or mix this with a drink. However, this does take longer to create effects, but they are on the same potent level that edibles are.

Some people choose tinctures because they’re discreet, have no vapor, smoke, or even a smell, and they’re super portable. There is even a little dropper that makes taking in and measuring it super ea. Ith this, you want to make sure that you store these correctly, as the heat and light can mess ith the cannabinoids.

Finally, you’ve got edibles, which are basically cannabis beverages and other infusions. Chocolates are some of the most popular, but gummies, fruit chews, and a whole lot more also work too. Capsules are also considered one of the things that people see as edible.

One of the major draws to edibles is that they offer effects that are super longer lasting compared to other means. They’re also super discreet too, but the downside ith this, is despite the fact that it’s something that’s super potent, it does require you to wait a little bit. You may not feel it for up to two hours after the dosage, so keep that in mind when you’re looking to use these.
