All about Hemp and Cannabis Oil

Some people still debate on which produces involving cannabis work best. A lot of people believe that cannabis oil and hemp oil do the same thing, and many of them will use these words in an interchangeable manner, and take them at the same time, believing that they’re the same thing. However, for people who do this, it can be a problem.

Understanding the difference is vital, which is why here, we’re going to discuss the difference, and why that mattes. The origin along with the cannabinoid content matter on this.  Hemp oil won’t have CBD, or it may have a little bit.  CBD oil comes directly from the leaves, flowers, or other portions of the cannabis plant, but hemp oil is strictly from the seeds.

Hemp oil is basically legalized oil since it contains less than .3% THC in it, and right now, marijuana is basically cannabis with higher levels of THC within this, so the composition is important to understand before you decide to use this. It also is important to understand that the people who deal with chronic illnesses also may use drugs that are cannabis-based for the problems they have.

Hemp Vs. Cannabis Oil

Hemp is taken from the seeds of the plant, and also the stem of the cannabis plant. Usually, this has a very tiny concentration of THC, and usually, it has a bit more of CBD within this. Cannabis oil is usually directly from the leaves, flowers, and the stem, so there are more compounds which are active.

Cannabis oil does have more compounds which are psychoactive, and less of the lesser active compounds.  This also means that it does have less THC in it and more CBD, but if you get cannabis oil, there is more THC, and less CBD within it. That’s why for a lo of doctors that offer cannabis-based drugs, this usually is in the form of medical marijuana, and is in a specific composition that’s used to help. Hemp oil is also quite different because of the process that’s used. Hemp oil is something that presses the hemp seeds similar to how olive and peanut oils do. The latter is done through extraction processes within the flower. But the patients that use this are much more interested in how potent and they each are, and the differences with this. Patients are more interested to know which is much more effective than the other one.

So what’s more effective?

That depends on what you want to use it for. That’s because, some people like hemp oil since it doesn’t have any of the cannabinoids within this. Those that contain CBD within it also may be better, since you don’t’ have to worry about getting high with this one. However, hemp-derived CBD oil is not the best on its own, since the THC and the terpenes offer the best results, crating the entourage effect.

Cannabis oil, from this alone has been found to be much more effective, containing a lot more THC and other cannabinoids than regular old hemp oil. The cannabinoids along with the terpenes get embedded directly into the resin, offering abundance within the flowers that are there, to which the oil is specifically gotten from. It is important to understand as well that certain conditions may require you to get certain kinds of treatments, which is why some people may opt for something with cannabis within it, or they may go hemp, especially if they don’t want the psychoactive effects. It’s best to talk to a doctor to see which option is best for your needs.
